Drawer Dividers in 30 min!

I’m creating a drawer divider for a craft cabinet.

The cabinet only came with 6-8 dividers.  It took me under 30 minutes to replicate the divider in FreeCAD.

Printing one-up, it seems to print fine.  Printing 6-up, there are issues.  So I emailed the folks at Aleph Objects for support.  They responded quickly, and we exchanged some info back and forth, and I created this page to help them visualize what I was trying to do.

In one layout, I printed 3 down and 3 up, hoping to reduce travel time from piece to piece while printing the supports on the bottom half of the sides of each divider.

I tried other layouts, with no better results.

See one aborted attempt.  Looks like I’ve got either some extruder leakage or the exterior of the extruder has PLA stuck to it, given the little “candy cotton” strings (from the border, for example, lower right of the picture).  Could this be causing some of the problems?

Ultimately I ended up raising the bed plate a bit (two quarter turns on the Z-axis adjustment knob) and put down painter’s tape for a base.

This morning's 6-up attempt, which I aborted part way into the second item.
